Dr. Chelsea McNally graduated from Duke University with her Doctorate in Physical Therapy in May 2016, after completing her Bachelor of Science in Exercise, Sport, and Health Education with a focus on sports medicine at Radford University. She has been an active member of the APTA since 2013 and is a certified clinical instructor.
Dr. McNally is TJC Concierge’s TMJ Specialist with a passion for treating neck and temporomandibular joint dysfunction (TMJD). She takes a holistic approach to treatment, believing in tailoring care to each individual to meet their specific rehabilitation goals. She also specializes in treating headaches, often related to TMJ dysfunction, and has developed an expertise in working with patients who experience chronic or acute headache pain.
In addition to her TMJ and headache work, Dr. McNally has a strong background in treating a wide range of orthopedic conditions, particularly those involving the neck, jaw, and upper extremities. As a faculty member and mentor in TJC’s orthopedic and sports residency programs, she is deeply committed to advancing the profession and mentoring the next generation of physical therapists.
Dr. McNally is also known for her work with gamers, helping them address issues such as posture, neck pain, and repetitive strain injuries, allowing them to continue doing what they love without discomfort.
Outside of work, Dr. McNally is a huge fan of Duke and Virginia Tech, having grown up in Blacksburg, VA. She enjoys hiking and spending time with her family.
