Steven, a South Florida native, earned his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from SUNY Upstate Medical University in May 2025. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Recreation and Sports Management from Florida International University and has been an active member of the APTA since 2022.
Steven has a strong interest in orthopedic injuries, spine-related impairments, and working with athletes across various sports. His clinical experience includes training under McKenzie Method specialists and shadowing physical therapists for the Buffalo Bills and Syracuse Mets, further shaping his expertise. With a background in high school and collegiate marching bands, he has lead in-person exercise programs, conducted injury prevention screenings, and educated performing artists on injury mitigation. Additionally, Steven has experience and enjoys treating gait deviations and balance deficits.
Outside of the clinic, Steven enjoys an active and creative lifestyle. As a former member of FIU’s marching band and indoor world winds ensemble, he also was a break-dancer and attended hip-hop workshops with Unit 305. Today, he stays engaged in powerlifting, culinary exploration, and running a photography business specializing in weddings, events, and street photography. In his downtime, he enjoys listening to Korean, Vietnamese, Japanese music, and EDM.
